Faith Gets Noticed
What happens when ordinary people spend time with Jesus?
In Acts 3 and 4, Peter and John encounter a man who had been unable to walk since birth. Instead of walking past him, they stop, look directly at him and point him toward the healing power of Jesus.
The miracle draws attention—but Peter and John refuse to take the credit. Their faith becomes visible, opposition follows and the religious leaders recognize something undeniable: these men had been with Jesus.
In this sermon, we explore three marks of visible, missional faith:
• Faith sees people differently
• Faith comes from being with Jesus
• Faith chooses boldness over comfort
Following Jesus is about more than attending church, knowing Bible facts or supporting good causes. It is about living so closely with Christ that His love, compassion and courage become visible through us.
The question is not simply, “Do people know I am a Christian?”
The question is: When people encounter me, can they tell I have been with Jesus?
